Oh yes, summer has finally found it’s way to Seattle. It doesn’t officially start until July 5 in these parts. But this year that date came and went completely unnoticed by mother nature. That has all changed in the last few weeks and summer is in full effect. That means block parties!
First up, South Lake Union!
It’s Friday, August 12 and the schedule looks a little something like this:
- Noon – 11 PM on Friday, August 12: South Lake Union Block Party
- Noon – 7 PM: Kids area activities
- Noon – 8 PM: Food Sampling & Vendors
- Noon – 10 PM: Beer Garden featuring Pyramid Breweries
- 4 – 8 PM: Soul Wine Tasting
- 5 PM: Whole Food Market Burger Grilling Competition
- 9 PM: Cinema on the Lawn : Scott Pilgrim vs. the World
