one of the hardest parts of living in seattle is being so far away from my best friends. we meet in college many years ago and have been inseparable since. i mean, we are thick as thieves. and even though we don’t live in the same place, we talk on conference call every wednesday. the distance between us gets smaller each wednesday but some days i truly miss being with my girls.
these women are my rock. i seek them for advice, support, comedic relief, encouragement and companionship. we’re as close to sisters as you can be when you share no actual dna. i love them! this past weekend i got to see them at our college reunion. go drake bulldogs! bulldogs for life! anyway, we had a great time hanging with each other. the best part was that we didn’t have to “catch up” because we talk every week. we simply got to enjoy each others company in person.
we’re all very busy women with a lot going on in our respective lives. we also have three time zones, four cities and three states between us. we can’t always get together but when we do, it’s all laughs and fun. i miss them already!
