aw, the sweet sweet smell of competition! us seattleites go hard when it comes to proving our mettle in competition and wits. the crazier the better. thankfully, i have friends who aren’t afraid to join me in my quests to explore and conquer seattle. that is how team honey bees was born!
on a perfectly normal saturday, my friend and eye donned bee costumes and lined up to compete in the challenge nation’s seattle urban scavenger hunt. there were about 250 teams who signed up and best believe we all came to win!
we raced around downtown seattle on foot in a 5k race that started by the stadium, crawled along the waterfront, ventured up to pike’s place market and meandered down to pioneer square and back to the stadium. we had so much fun, made some friends along the way and totally dominated. we came in 82! not bad team honeybees!
